Merry Christmas, dear friends and readers! I wish you luck, prosperity, and joy! I hope you have received great presents, and have indulged great dishes over the last week-end, as I have.
This year my wife,
Diana, and I decided to stay at home for Christmas and to treat ourselves with lots of goodies.
And that was what we cooked last Friday:
to be honest, we had prepared so much we couldn't eat it all at once - the left-overs came in handy on Saturday and on Sunday.
Here is the list with photos:
Cat-Salad (no worries, there's ham, carrots, potatoes, onion, and mayo in it, but no cat). The upcoming new year is the year of either a rabbit or a cat, depending on the calendar. We chose to give the salad a form of the latter to honor our
Filka.

The next ones on the list:
deviled eggs (stuffed). Great appetizer for any occasion. A unison of zestiness and texture from the combination of mustard, horseradish, mayo, egg, bacon, and green onion will perfectly prepare your palate for more.
I can't imagine Christmas without a roast. It's a given, right!.. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you
the rack of laaaaamb!
Coat it with garlic in olive oil, herbs and bread crumbs to taste, and stick it in the oven (375 degrees F) for twenty minutes.
Voilà!
