The World is getting ready for the FIFA World Cup. It is almost here, so efforts must be doubled. Nike is not beating around the bush - it has produced an awesome commercial "Write the Future." The piece is directed by Alejandro Inarritu ("21 Grams" and "Babel"). It features the most of the boast of modern soccer/football, such as Didier Drogba, Wayne Rooney, Fabio Cannavaro, Landon Donovan, and Franck Ribery. And, of course, the genius of the one and the only - the FIFA's Captain Erotica, Cristiano Ronaldo!
The advertisement is strong in quality and statement. It is also satirical of the players' dreams and fears... I'd say it's a hell of a kick-off for the Mundial, which begins this June. Well done!
